Ernest Hurd Education Foundation is a non-profit organization named after my Grandfathers Ernest Hurd Sr. & Jr. with a goal of supporting education for black students. What started as an initiative to assist all of the high school age children in the Hurd family has expanded to assistance for children of color looking to further their education post high school. The foundation provides valuable information about college offerings, tours, and college application assistance. With a strong focus on community engagement and donations, it is distinguished as a black-owned foundation.
